CLAY ON JIMMY KIMMEL!!

First, I just want to say.... I LOVE CLAY AIKEN!!!!!

Sigh, that Virgin megastore was adorned with Clay's posters EVERYWHERE. Wish all record stores would be like that. I was with the South Jersey claymates and we took pictures with every Clay poster I think! At the end of the day, after the Kimmel show, only a few Clay posters stayed up. Yes, they had taken all the window posters down and proceeded to take down the wall posters inside the record store too... Their excuse, the RCA rep wanted them back... excuse me... back for what??? Are they done promoting already???

Anyway, I don't want to get too negative!!! But that Tuesday has to be one of the most STRESSFUL Clay day ever!!! Between the CD signing line and the Jimmy Kimmel line and then not getting in.... At 10am, there were already 3 lines, the have bracelet line, the need bracelet line and the Kimmel line. Yes, us claymates love lines! But we figured, the lines weren't long, go eat first! I'm having breakfast with 7 other claymates when I see the "have bracelet" line start moving! WHOA!!! I stop eating and run out the door! You guys already know this but they whisked everyone to the back of the mall area to contain the line situation... GOOD IDEA! Unlike GMA, the Virgin staff were very organized! It was a VERY LONG LINE, but between spotting Jimmy Kimmel in the JNT t-shirt (not knowing why yet), seeing the ET crew and photographers snapping away made the wait more bearable.. LynninNJ, gonflipin, Lori509, Dazaccent and Bert53 all made it on the wire images with their hand bags! The one time I didn't carry my clay bag! DARN IT!

And then before you know it, HE WAS IN FRONT OF ME!! OMG! HE WAS SO GORGEOUS!!! .... he was to die for.... I was planning to videotape Madison in front of me, but my brain turned into MUSH!!!! I didn't hit the record button till she was almost done talking to Clay! Then while he was talking to her, he glanced at me... and .... yes, I'm deluded but I felt like he was "checking me out"!!!! GAHH!!!!! Leave me in my fantasy world will you??? Those eyes!!!!! I can't stand it! I have one of those glances on my video and I've already watched it a 1000 times... When he looks at you.... I made sure to blab about how much I loved his CD, the song HE wrote on and on and on while he was busy signing... I was so ecstatic... and he was PERFECTION!

We ran over to the Kimmel line afterwards and was lucky enough to be the last few to get bracelets. So HAPPY! We were standing all day, so we decided to go back to the hotel for a little rest. The Kimmel staff reassured us that people with bracelets were all getting in and to come back at 5:30pm. We come back and we're almost to the end of the line, but it's OK because they promised we were all getting in and it didn't matter where you are in line cause they seat you where they want anyway right? They always manage to disappoint someone don't they? We were still outside at 7:30pm when reality hit that we might not make it in... we braced ourselves with the notion. Then they hit our heads with it soon after.

Sigh... it turned out OK at the end though because we were very close to the stage and they had a TV right there for us to watch Clay's interview. Any disappointments/anger/frustration/need to hurt someone was gone in oblivion when Clay walked out on stage... HOLY CRAP.... I hadn't seen him on stage for almost a year and he was better than ever... HOW DOES HE JUST KEEP GETTING BETTER????!!!! His jeans were so loose, he kept pulling them up before he went on the air. And Angela had to help him I guess roll the waist to keep it tight. He was so HOOOOOOOTTTTTT!!! We were screaming at the top of our lungs for him and he signed "thank you" to us!! I think it was during "When I See You Smile". GAH!!!!!!! Was that not the best present ever???? Oh wait, maybe the better present was when he jumped and reached up with his right arm and his shirt went up and up and up until we saw SKIN!!!!!!!!! Was that during "Without You"??? I don't remember anymore... he was so cute holding that note "more" at the end of "Without You" with Angela... he can rock just about ANY song can't he??? And when he forgot the words to "Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word"... he was so DARN CUTE.... the faces he made...sigh... just priceless.

WHAT A GREAT FEELING TO SEE THE WHOLE BLOCK SWARMING WITH CLAYMATES!!!

Can't wait for the CD!!

Less than 40 days to go for A Thousand Different Ways!! I can not wait to hear Clay's voice, embracing me, caressing me...

Jeannie Holleman, 50, says she is a lifelong friend and neighbor of a Raleigh family that were friends with Aiken's mother, Faye Parker, and took her in when Parker and her young son left her abusive husband.

In the lawsuit, filed Friday in Wake County Superior Court, Holleman claims Aiken, his mother and others conspired to defame her and depress sales of her book by denying they knew her, branding her stories as lies and demeaning the book on Aiken fans'Web sites.

Aiken, in a statement issued by RCA Records, said Monday that he had"instructed my attorneys to not only vigorously dispute the claims that have been made but to also pursue all possible remedies against those involved in the perpetration of these untruths."

Holleman's 2005 book,"Out of the Blue _'Clay'it Forward,"incorporates interviews from the McGhee family and her own recollections with stories from Aiken's fans...

The lawsuit seeks at least $260,000 in damages and asks the court to order Aiken to retract the critical comments or endorse the book on his official Web site, to write a positive introduction for the book and to sell the book at his concerts for at least five years.

In his statement, Aiken, 27, also said:

"As a so-called `celebrity'I have become used to scurrilous allegations and untruths being made about me and my work. I have always taken the path of not reacting to these matters and have accepted them as, somehow, coming with the `job.'However, I cannot, and will not, stand by when these attacks are made on my family."

A message to Clay

First, that pic from the press release...... HOTHOTHOTHOTHOTHOTHOTHOT!! Did I say you look absolutely HOT??!!!!! TRIPLE HOT?!!!! A BILLION TIMES HOTTER THAN ANY OTHER MALE ON THIS PLANET???!!! OK. Now that I got THAT out of the way! YOU ARE HOT!!! Wait, I already said that! Umm... what else did I want to say?

Oh yeah... even though many of us are very happy with the tracklist, there are some who are not completely satisfied (I'm raising my little hand). The ONLY reason is... you and RCA had THREE whole years to make the sophomore album. You guys could only find 4 good songs??? And I'm sorry, but ATD is only mediocre(I'm only talking about the songs, NOT about your golden beautiful make me cry hot sweat pee voice). What happened to BFM? Didn't TC and YOU test songs out on us during the JBT?? What was that about? A tease? We loved it so therefore you don't put it on the album? We didn't like ATD so you PUT it on the album?? I'm so confused. And you KNOW that you can rock with the best of them. Can't you put just at least TWO upbeat songs in the album??

I'm very sorry for stirring the turd, but I had to get it off my chest. Instead of 10 covers and 4 originals, couldn't you have done 10 originals and 4 covers?? Yes, your beautiful voice will shine through I'm sure, but we also want you to be played on the radio, to be more popular, to have a wider fan base, to draw in more fans (although I don't know WHY the heck I would want that because I'll have to compete with more people for concert tickets!), but we only want the best for you! And if you don't care about drawing a younger fan base, why have amyspace?? If you have a myspace, do you think they'll want to listen to oldies??? HUH??? I'm really confused! We love your voice, but you KNOW how many times we listen to your CDs!! Yeah, a quadrillion times until I hear it repeating in my brain when I wake up in bed. SOOOOO,you could at least have come out with more new songs that we DON'T know the words of. At least pick great UNKNOWN songs. But you go ahead and pick 10 songs that most people know by heart?? HUH????

I know..... I'm confused, so I need to look at your pic once again. YIKES!!!YOU ARE HOTTTHOTTTTTTTHOTTTHOTTTHOTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I love you more than ever, but will we one day get ROCKIN' CLAY on an album like we see in your concerts???!!!!!

But as long as THIS WAS WHAT YOU WANTED CLAY, then I'll be happy... and I KNOW I will LOVEEEEE your CD either way, I'm just a whiner.

Suggestions for future meet and greets

Now that we know the A Thousand Different Ways is due out Sept 19th, we have to plan ahead for the tour...
I've started fantasizing about what Clay can do in his future meet and greets to make his fans happier.

• 1. Take each fan in a closet and have a make out session.
• 2. Give us one area on his body we can touch.

NO!! KIDDING!!! We know Clay would NEVER do anything like that! He's such an admirable respectable humble humanitarian... But that's what makes him at the same time SEXY and HAWT! HOW THE HECK DOES HE DO THAT???!!! Add in the VOX and you got a lethal combo! He's a freakin' genius. I'm very impressed at the people who have not yet succumbed to Clay Aiken's spell.
So back to what would be "appropriate", YET make the fans "satisfied" at the same time:

• 1. Upon coming face to face with Clay, he will stare into your eyes for 10 seconds. Jerome or his Jr will keep his eye on the clock. You will be able to squeeze his....hands.... at the same time he is mesmerizing you with his spectacular green eyes.
• 2. He will then run his hand down your cheek while you are still staring longingly at him.
• 3. Clay will turn to your ear of preference and whisper ever so softly, "Where are you from?"
• 4. If you haven't fainted by then, you will proceed to talk a little about yourself and let Clay know just how many rooms in the house you have dedicated to Clay.
• 5. Clay will sign: Hotforclay, you're my favorite! Love, Clay Aiken
• 6. Picture time! You will be allowed to pick your favorite WDC pose with Clay while Kristy takes a picture of both of you.
• 7. Every fan will be able to hang around until all the meet and greets are done. They can fan themselves and provide water and oxygen to others in need.
• 8. After all the meet and greets are done. Clay will perform in front of all the fans who have been waiting patiently. He will slowly take off his shoes to show us his naked feet while we wooo and ahhhhh.
• 9.No! You may NOT smell his feet. But Jerome will allow you to take pictures of them...without flash.

Nothing wrong with that is there???!!!! Everyone will be happy and yes, there will be a few fans who will need to be rushed to the ambulance, but I KNOW they will be plenty satisfied....that their donated money was put to such a great cause! And I believe people will PAY THROUGH THE ROOF for this kind of meet and greet! What do you say Clay? Help us help you!

Yep, I'm going delerious from missing Clay... but he will be with us again "quite soon".

My New Favorite Gadgets

There are times when you need to spend money on things that make you happy. You work hard, and if you can afford it, I SAY, GO FOR IT!

I have never been into electronics or gadgets until I became a Clay Aiken fan...Here are my all time favorite gadgets to date:

1)IPOD-no need to burn, just download! And I just got the video ipod. Can't wait to watch some vids on it!

2)SONY CYBERSHOT CAMERA for everyday use (it's TINY and LIGHT!,)and Canon Powershot S21S for concert photos (great for a non-professional camera!). Oh, I also have the Professional Canon EOS for family photos and it's great of course but BIG(that's my husband's camera! We all know men like BIG things...it's for compensation LOL!)

3)BLACKBERRY CELL PHONE-instant emails, internet access, calendar, tasks and bluetooth!

4)SONY VAIO WIDESCREEN DESKTOP- with wireless keyboard and mouse; and I've attached an i-pen that allows me to enjoy photoshopping.

5)APPLE LAPTOP/MACBOOK- great for quick computer checks when you're not near your favorite large screen computer!

6TOYOTA SIENNA XLE- This HAS to be the coolest car!!! You thought cool is a contradiction in terms to a minivan? WRONG! I've resisted but now that I got it. HOLY COW!! IT'S LITERALLY GADGET OVERLOAD!
Automatically opens and closes doors and TRUNKS
Power retractable side mirrors!
DVD player
Navigation- voice prompted - yeah, you TALK to it, and then it talks to you!
Telephone-Bluetooth (Yeah, I had the earpiece before, but now it's REALLY handsfree! I love how it interrupts music-sorry Clay for interrupting you-and rings in the car stereo!)
Camera at the back of the car for driving reverse. (This is good if you don't want to run any cats over! Hint Clay hint).
Sonar-because I've hit many a things in my lifetime and this will BEEP you till you STOP.
AUX plug in for my ipod- this is so cool! Now I don't have to worry about the radio frequency dying on me and all that background noise when I turn the volume up on Clay!
On the steering wheel- volume buttons, hand free talk button, change radio station button!
What would I do differently in the Sienna- more horsepower for better acceleration, bose speakers for better sound quality, a sleeker dashboard design, and areas for your cords to be hidden. But until someone comes up with a luxury minivan (since there are NONE), this is the best!

The only thing I'm missing in the Sienna- auto start!

5)GARMIN NUVI-This is a must for the die hard Clay fan if you don't already have one installed in your car! It's a portable navigation system that wiil talk to you as you travel to every Clay Aiken concert you can make it to. It is super easy to use and a great colorful screen, better than my nav on the Sienna.

UNICEF EFFORTS IN LEBANON

UNICEF is asking for $23.8 million as part of a wider UN appeal of $150 million for emergency aid to Lebanon. Launched simultaneously in Beirut and at the United Nations headquarters in New York, the appeal urges the global community to help displaced refugee children and families in their hour of critical need.

Yesterday, Clay blogged and asked his fans to support UNICEF's efforts in Lebanon. In the last 24 hours, Clay fans ALONE have donated $45,896.96!!
